Development of civilization from its prehistoric origins to the present.
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of HIST 152, the student will be able to:
- Analyze and explain cause and effect relationships in history
- Synthesize and summarize key ideas in history, including major world philosophies, religions, political theories and systems
- Compare and contrast historical experiences across cultures and time
- Describe and define major historical events, ideas, places, people, and other items of historical import
- Demonstrate their understanding of the historical roots of current events
