History
'A generation which ignores history has no past and no future' ...History gives you an understanding of how our world came to be. Only through history can we understand the roots of current problems and issues, and how to formulate solutions.
History is the record of human achievements and failures, in the areas of art, philosophy, science, politics, and religion. Indeed, it is the foundation for studying these areas.
Different courses look at the civilizations and cultures--American, Asian, European, Hawaiian and Pacific, that have shaped or contributed to our world.
