SPAN 101-102 - Elementary Spanish I-II

  • Native speakers may not take language courses for credit.
  • 101 Prerequisite: ENG 20B & C & D & E OR ESL 11 & 13 & 14 & 17 OR placement in ENG 22/60
  • 102 Prerequisite: SPAN 101

Development of listening, speaking, reading, writing. Drill and practice emphasized. Laboratory work required.

  • Read and understand a short passage in present tense

  • Review the present tense
  • Appreciate aspects of Latino culture
