Biology
Biology is the study of all living organisms: bacteria, algae and protozoans, fungi, plants, and animals. Topics covered include biochemistry, biophysics, cell biology, anatomy and physiology, taxonomy, genetics, evolution, and ecology. Laboratory work includes microscopic examination of cells and simple life forms, looking at representatives of all the major groups of organisms, dissections, and field trips to botanical gardens and to the zoo.
