Oceanography

Oceanography introduces students to the world of oceans: their geology, chemistry, physics and biology. The oceans cover two-thirds of our planet and greatly influence the Earth's weather and climate. Study of oceans will help us understand the importance of oceans in providing food and other resources and the impact of human activities on ocean environment and marine life. In addition to a 1-credit laboratory course in oceanography, this discipline also offers courses in Aquaculture and ocean resources and ecology.
