Course Description

Lectures on some widely discussed subjects related to human nutrition. Topics include the world food crisis, protein alternatives, food additives, methods in food advertising, and nutritional labeling. Primarily for non-majors. Students wishing further understanding of basic nutrition concepts should also enroll in 185.
