IS 105 - Student Leadership Skills

  • Prerequisite: ENG 20B & C & D & E or placement in ENG 22/60
  • Corequisite: IS 103 and IS 104

This course is designed to expose students to the basic skills essential for effective student leadership. For the context of this course, a student leader is any person who wishes to actively engage others to accomplish change. Students will be able to identify and implement skills of leadership and followership, bring change to organizations, navigate complex environments independently and understand goal directed processes. This course facilitates a shared learning experience, allowing for networking with other students. Students may enroll 2 times for a maximum of 1 credit.
