PSY 100 - Survey of Psychology

  • Prerequisite: Placement in ENG 22/60

Principles of human behavior, individual differences, motivation, emotion, perception, learning.

Contact: 3 hours lecture per week

Student Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of PSY 100, the student will be able to:

  • Understand the scientific method and decision making as applied to the social sciences
  • Identify the strengths and weaknesses of different research methods used in psychological research
  • Identify and describe the major subject areas within psychology summarize in writing the results and applications of current research
