SSCI 193V - Cooperative Education
Course Description

This course will provide students with the opportunity to acquire on-the-job experience related to classroom and laboratory instruction in the Social Sciences. Students may enroll 4 times for credit up to a maximum of 12 credits.
Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of SSCI 193V, the student will be able to:
- Complete a career self-assessment, identify potential employers, and conduct a job search (for positions related to the Social Sciences) to secure an appropriate Cooperative Education Job Training Position.
- Perform all duties required at the cooperative education work site, demonstrating positive work habits and using appropriate procedures, tools and equipment, consistent with all applicable standards and OSHA regulations.
- Demonstrate an understanding of personal abilities and skills with an awareness of the impact of abilities and skills on career development and academic achievement.
